1997
- Mac OS 7.6 released. Requires 68030 or later, no support for
24-bit addressing or classic Mac networking.
- Why You Should Use Mac OS 7.6 to Get the Most Out of Vintage Macs, Thomas Ahart, 2005.12.12
- System 7.5 and Mac OS 7.6: The Beginning and End of an Era, Tyler Sable, 2006.02.15
- System 7 Today, Advocates of Apple's 'Orphan' Mac OS 7.6.1, Tommy Thomas, 2006.10.26
1999
- The new iMac: What color do you want?, Dan Knight, iMac Musings. The new iMac is 66 MHz faster, $100 less expensive, and comes in five colors.
2000
- The S900 chronicles, Eric DeStefano, Mac Metamorphosis. "Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was my SuperMac S900."
- Apple, FileMaker joint announcement, Anne Onymus, The Rumor Mill. Home Page 4, AppleWorks for Windows, and more unveiled at hush hush press conference.
- Unbelievable!, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. Mac OS Rumors claims to have served over 900,000 pages in twenty-four hours. I don't believe it.
- Egg on my face, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. I rate my hardware predictions. At least I was right about "something unexpected" and Steve Jobs not leaving.
2002
- iMac G4. Definitely different with a G4, 15" LCD, nVidia graphics, and much more.
- 14" iBook 600. Not just a larger screen in a larger, heavier case - also a longer life battery.
- iCab beats Opera as fastest low-end browser, Clarisse Leite Motter, My Turn. For an older Power Mac with a dial-up connection, nothing beats iCab.
- Hands on: Dave 3.1, Alan Zisman, Mac2Windows. How Dave lets Mac users (classic and OS X) share files and printers on a PC network.
- Kevin Webb's PowerBook G4, Kevin Webb, Tools of the Trade. A look at the hardware and software that comprises Kevin Webb's tool of the trade.
- Michael 'Mike' "Mick" McMac's Mac Know-it-all Column #2, Jeff Adkins, The Lite Side. Worthless advice on macaroni, RAM, ROM, iMacs, Rage, airport security, printing from Windows, and more.
- Best Buy: Beige Power Mac G3. Although we still consider the beige G3 a best buy under the classic Mac OS, we no longer recommend it as an OS X machine.
- PowerBooks, startup drives, and Word Perfect, Charles W. Moore, Miscellaneous Ramblings. PowerBook questions, SuperMac startup problems, iBook hinge issues, and where to get WordPerfect for free.
- Addressing battery problems, Dan Knight, Troubleshooting Your Mac. A lost network connection, sluggish performance, slow mouse, b&w display, and the wrong year can all be due to a bad battery.
- Macworld Expo 2002 Keynote, Dan Knight. Mac OS X now standard on new Macs, new iPhoto software, a larger 14" screen iBook, and (finally) a flat-panel iMac.
- Who let the iMac out?, Dan Knight. Oops, Time magazine let the cat out of the bag early.
2003
- 12" PowerBook G4/867. Compact design, G4 processor, and aluminum case make Small AlBook a nice step up from the iBook.
- 17" PowerBook G4/1 GHz. 1440 x 900 display, two FireWire ports, AirPort Extreme, and more make the Big AlBook a powerhouse.
- Changes in Jaguar compared to 10.1.5, Dan Knight, 10 Forward. Some of the ways Jaguar is different from Mac OS X 10.1.x.
- Move2Mac, divergent reviews, and making your own choices, Steve Watkins, The Practical Mac. Reviewers disagree, but that diversity provides you with more information so you can make a better decision.
- Still yet even more new bumper snickers, Jeff Adkins, The Lite Side. Nine more bumper snickers guaranteed to offend somebody somewhere somehow.
2004
- Still waiting for the tipping point, Stephen Van Esch, Mac Scope. Apple remains innovative and profitable, but what's it going to take to increase market share?
- Getting on with life and Low End Mac, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. How low-end Macs, software, and the Internet are helping one couple communicate while separated.
2005
- The headless Mac as an upgrade path for low end Mac users, Adam Robert Guha, Apple Archive. The rumored $500 headless Mac could be just the thing to turn long-time Mac users into new Mac buyers.

- PowerBooks at Berklee, 'Book made into car MP3 player, new Mac only auction site, and more, The 'Book Review. Also slot-loading drives for Lombard and Pismo, iBreeze and Titan cooling stands, "Time to Give Apple a Chance," bargain 'Books from $399 to $1,249, and more.
2008
- Could DRM in Mac OS X drive users to Linux?, Charles Moore, Miscellaneous Ramblings. Apple has applied to patent software similar to Windows Genuine Advantage. Should they implement it, is it feasible to switch to Linux or BSD?
- Netscape is dead, but its children live on, Tommy Thomas, Welcome to Macintosh. Netscape Navigator dominated the browser market into 1998, but it was bludgeoned into oblivion by Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
