2001

• Office Politics: 'Rassling with Word 2001, Jeff Adkins, Mac Lab Report. Only Microsoft could create a program this convoluted and somehow get it to become the industry standard.
• Everything made sense, Twig Gravely, My First Mac. Everything made sense. I thought to myself that this machine had to have been created by some very smart people....
• Apple's finest art, Michael Fogus, 10 Forward. Windows and the classic Mac OS never satisfied, but OS X is fine art.
• The Slashdot Effect, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. A look at the effect a simple link from Slashdot can have on site traffic.
• Team 6100 Update. We've completed over 500 units and donated over 5 years of CPU time to SETI@home since May 2000.

2002

2004

• You might be a Mac fanatic if, Jeff Adkins, The Lite Side. Dozens of indicators that you just might be a Mac fanatic.
• Replacement 'Book batteries, Classic install tip, Mac SE on Net with DSL, and more, Charles Moore, Miscellaneous Ramblings. Also PowerBook 145 troubles, Gmail and Outlook Express, a recalcitrant B&W G3, and backing up to multiple CDs.

2005

• When did a computer's visual appearance become more important than the hardware inside?, Ted Hodges, Vintage Mac Living. Apple's iMac played a big role in moving computers from ugly beige boxes into visual statements.
• Software that worked during my months in Iraq with my PowerBook, Joe Rivera, Mac Fallout Shelter. Two operating systems and over a dozen programs that made life better while deployed in Iraq.
• Microsoft to drop Windows support, refocus on core markets, Jeff Adkins, The Lite Side. Microsoft to give up on patching Windows, concentrate on Xbox and Office - even port Microsoft Office to Linux.

2006

• The NeXT years: Steve Jobs before his triumphant return to Apple, Tom Hormby, Orchard. How Steve Jobs stuck with his vision from ouster from Apple through the changing fortunes of NeXT.
• Beyond the GUI: The Spoken Word User Interface, Ted Hodges, Vintage Mac Living. Macs have been talking since 1984 and responding to voice commands since 1993. When will we see a voice-based OS?

2007

• My 13 years using Windows, Trevor Wale, One More Thing. It started with Windows 3.1 in 1992 - and ended with frustration at Windows XP in 2005.
