Physical Specs and Compatibility

The RasterOps ColorBoard 108+ card is a 12" NuBus card compatible with 680x0-based NuBus Macs running up to Mac OS 9.0.

Acceleration/Resolution/Color Support

The RasterOps ColorBoard 108+ is unaccelerated and supports the following resolution/color combinations:

640 x 480 up to 8-bit
832 x 624 up to 8-bit
1024 x 768 (at 60 Hz) up to 8-bit

Resolution is set by DIP switches on the card. Roberto Muscedere reports:

I've got some more info on this board. It uses DIP switches to set itself up. Here are the settings:

    1    2  Resolution  Rate
   OFF  OFF  1024 x 768   75Hz
   ON   OFF   800 x 600   67Hz
   OFF  ON    640 x 480   67Hz
   ON   ON   1024 x 768   75Hz

Switches 3 and 4 appear to do nothing.

Software

No drivers are required for this card.
