RasterOps ColorBoard 232

The RasterOps 232 is a 12" NuBus card compatible with 680x0-based NuBus Macs running up to Mac OS 7.5.1.

Details

The card provides standard QuickDraw acceleration and supports 640 x 480 resolution in up to 24-bit color.

Software

RasterOps video card drivers can be downloaded from the Mac Driver Museum, where ShrinkWrap disk images are available for RasterOps Graphics Install v3.2 and v3.3, MoviePak, MoviePak2, and VideoTime.

Notes

• Resolution is set by DIP switches on the card. If you know the DIP switch settings, please email them to me.
• RasterOps claims the card is incompatible with any 040-based Mac other than the Quadra 700, 900, and 950. If you can verify this (or prove it wrong), please let me know.
