Apple Releases iOS 7.1.2 Update

On Monday, June 30, Apple introduced iOS 7.1.2, a free update for all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices capable of using iOS 7.

The update contains undisclosed bug fixes and security updates. These include improving iBeacon connectivity and stability, fixing a data transfer bug with some third-party accessories, and an issue with data protection of Mail attachments.

We installed it yesterday, and it’s working just fine.

To install iOS 7.1.2, open Settings, select General, and then choose Software Update. You may want to wait a few days to see if any bugs are discovered, but Apple has a pretty solid track record.
