The PowerBook 160 introduced gray scale video to the PowerBook line with 4-bit internal video and support for 8-bit video up to 832 x 624 on an external monitor. It was the first PowerBook to allow more than 8MB RAM. Other than that, this is much the same as the PB 145.
The PB 160 reintroduced SCSI Disk Mode to the PowerBook line, a feature previously found only on the PB 100.
