Also, the stadium was the first in the country to attain a gold-level green building status. It managed to achieve the relevant standards in nine areas, including CO2 reduction, soil water content, and biodiversity.

Also, the 67 036 capacity stadium has significantly reduced the use of potable water and the amount of water directed to the local sewer system. It also has the world’s largest vacuum sanitary installation. The system reduces the amount of water used in each flush by up to 90%.
