Dynamac IIsf and IIsf/30

I found this one mentioned in the July 1991 MacUser magazine, although the Dynamac IIsf had been announced in January 1991. Where the original Dynamac (1987) was essentially a portable Mac Plus, and the short-lived Dynamac SE/30 (1988) was an Mac SE/30 with a 640 x 480 8-bit video card that also supported the 1152 x 870 pixel Apple Two-Page Display in 2-bit mode, the Dynamac IIsf was built around a Mac LC motherboard and weighed about 4 lb. less than the Mac Portable.

“The Dynamac IIsf is a leather-cased portable with an LC motherboard and a 640 x 480 pixel, 16-gray backlit, flat-panel display. It includes a touch pad, has a battery life of three hours, and comes with 2 megabytes of RAM and a 40 megabyte hard-disk drive. The IIsf can drive Apple’s 12-inch RGB and monochrome displays.”

Note that the Dynamac IIsf/30 predates the 1992 Mac LC II, which was Apple’s update to the original LC that moved to a 68030 CPU.
