On Monday, June 30, Apple released its fourth update to OS X 10.9 Mavericks. Apple recommends all Mavericks users update to v10.9.4.
The update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac. Apple says that this update:
- Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks
- Fixes issue causing the background or Apple logo to appear incorrectly on startup
- Improves the reliability of waking from sleep
- Includes Safari 7.0.5
We’ve installed 10.9.4 on our Late 2008 Aluminum MacBook, and so far it’s working just fine.
To install the update, choose Software Update under the Apple Menu or launch the Mac App Store and click on the Updates icon.
