MicroMac provided several products to upgrade the Color Classic, a perennial favorite among Mac collectors, as well as many other Macs. Although pages on the company website have not been updated since 1998-2000, we provide this as a look back at some very innovative upgrades.
640 x 480 Screen Resolution Upgrade
For Color Classic, Colour Classic II, and Performa 275.
- $99 upgrade from 512 x 384 pixels to 640 x 480 pixels.
- Get 57% more pixels on your screen.
- See 25% more width in your documents.
- Better Web browsing.
- Crisp, high-resolution images.
- Thousands of colors with 512 KB VRAM.
This upgrade requires that you obtain an RMA number from MicroMac Technology. You then ship your Color Classic, and MicroMac Technology performs the screen upgrade.
