So, recently I learned that Apple, as much as I love them, may be thinking of ditching the ol’ headphone port on the iPhone 7. I don’t know how to feel about this, as I once believed the iPod/iPhone to be one of the best media devices on the planet.
Now what is going to happen? How will the average Joe cope? How would one feel if their very expensive headphones, once used for that everyday jaunt to work, became unusable – if of course they upgrade to the iPhone 7.
I know I wouldn’t be very happy. I know I could probably buy an adaptor just to be able to use them again, but why should I? Every other thing on the planet has a headphone socket.
Apple have always been an innovator and foresaw the demise of many things, the floppy disk being one fine example, and is this the way technology is going? Can they see, or do they know something that we don’t. Has Bluetooth become the way of everything, therefore completely rendering this post null and void.
I guess the world will find out when the iPhone 7 is unveiled.
