A few days ago, Apple released the third public beta of iOS 26 as well as a revised 6th Developer Beta of iOS 26. This comes after an earlier 6th Developer Beta of iOS 26 released on August 11th, with a slightly different build being 23A5318c.

.
This iteration of the Developer Beta is either further along the development train, or there was a bug fix between the last build and this one which rendered the stability rating lower, from C to F.

Tracking Geekbench 6 Performance
Disclaimer: While artificial benchmarks only tell part of the story when it comes to the performance of any device, they still offer some form of insight. I’ve benched this iPhone 14 Pro on and off throughout the years to get a relative idea of how it performs over time.
.
While the multicore appears to have dipped, this is actually seemingly normal when performing multiple tests. Often the following one will result in a score similar to the 6,800-ish trend we have been seeing, but this was also a real world result. Either way, the phone hasn’t slowed down or felt worse with this update. It feels snappy, although some animations are slightly delayed.

What some others are saying
- Low Power mode seems very efficient in this beta, and no longer enables itself.
. - Some users are missing the notification that their Apple Watch is fully charged.
. - Users with an iPhone 15 Pro may have web page view-ability issues. When scrolling down, half of the screen is covered by a gray box.
. - Calendar may freeze.
. - Users may experience a keyboard bug where it switches from light to dark randomly.
. - Setting a wallpaper in the messages app may cause it to disappear.
There are mixed reviews on this being a stable build as well as this being a build with many bugs. As for my own experience so far on an iPhone 14 Pro, it is stable and fast so far. This will not discount the experience others will have with this Beta Build, as I have seen bugs with this build with my own eyes on other iPhones.
