3: Continued work on July 20th design principles

În continuation of last week’s announcement for some new site navigation features, more work must be done to have this completed. Once the effect is applied fully throughout the software and hardware index, it will be announced.

Fixed: The PowerPC iBook page in listed view would not show correctly when navigated to in listed view from other pages.

  • (If you started in list view): /Hardware tech specs > Portables > iBook index, the page would display incorrectly.

  • (If you start in icon view): /Hardware tech specs > Portables > iBook index, then switched to listed view, previously only then would it display correctly.

6: About older articles being updated

Just a friendly reminder to those not already in the know – we are in the process of updating our articles for 2025 and beyond. This means combing through all the tech spec pages and reformatting them while also adding new, relevant information.

A lot of things have changed over time, much new software has released, community projects developed, etc; and it’s worth reflecting such things for informational accuracy among other reasons. Moreover, we want our existing articles to be as useful and readable as possible for our visitors – so we’re working on reformatting and standardizing informational content on older articles. Much like some of the design changes this is a goal with no specific target date as it is a large project.

Old articles aren’t being totally rewritten from scratch – existing information will be used too. Sometimes though – an article will contain a lot of new information previously not in the article, and may look totally different!

Thank you for all your support throughout the years! We are happy to continue working on the website in order to provide a community supported informational resource.
