Recently shared in our community, someone posted a link to Infinite Mac, a resource I’ve long forgotten about but has sparked discussion– now to be featured as a part of the “Low End Mac Mailbag“. As a part of the Low End Mac mailbag, we aim to:

- Save the knowledge shared by others
- Have our community be more “out there”, etching their name on the website.
- Answer commonly asked questions, helping you problem-solve your Mac.
Someone posted: “Omg folks – Infinitemac.org – did everyone know about this?! U can legit run a virtualized 68K Mac IN BROWSER with some system disks, Macintosh Garden disc files already setup for one-click loading. I’m floored.”

Someone else commented: “It’s a fantastic resource! Performance starts to drop down below acceptable levels once you use the NextStep and Mac OS X presets; but for classic macOS systems it works really well.”
Editor’s notes: While I haven’t poked around in this too much myself, it does look like a nice tool/website. It looks like it goes all the way up to Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger! It boots quickly on an M4 mini in Safari Tahoe, but takes forever to launch an app for some reason. Then it hangs. I can imagine in due time performance would improve for newer OSes.
