We’re all familiar with silver, space gray and now space black.. but what about all the other colors? This wasn’t enough, as colorful Macs started trickling back in. We had gold and rose gold with the late intel MacBook Airs and MacBooks, and finally had colorful iMacs again with the M1 iMac.
Ryan Anderson made an array of colorful, anodized Macs, comprised of what were originally silver. These aren’t spray-painted, painted, nor do they have well-cut vinyl.. these are all professionally anodized to a different color. Not stopping at one, or two, or three, or four.. he made a collection of Macs of many different colors!
- Ryan: “So I get mine done at A&E Anodize in San Jose California, and with that – most places that do anodizing will either not take it for the risk. If they do take it, they could damage the item if they don’t know what it is you want done. Make sure all non-aluminum pieces are removed and for the screw holes to be plugged, to protect the threads. Sometimes depending on the anodizing company they mask the screw holes themselves.
