• How green is my Apple? Environmental silliness in Silicon Valley, Dan Knight, The Lite Side. There's no reason for the antagonism between environmentalists and Apple - unless its more about PR than the environment.
• Low End Mac's design moves forward with CSS and XHTML, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. We're making some behind the scenes changes at Low End Mac using Cascading Style Sheets and the XHTML standard.

2006

• The 17" MacBook Pro value equation, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. Apple's newest MacBook Pro runs at 2.16 GHz and has a larger screen than the equally costly 15" MacBook Pro.
• The Amazing WiFi iPod/Mac mini Combo-Pak™, Jeff Adkins, The Lite Side. Apple's 'next great thing' will combine a WiFi iPod with an Intel-based Mac mini and add some great new features.

2007

• Rebranding: They're all Macs now, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. Since Steve Jobs' return to Apple in 1997, Apple has phased out the Performa, PowerBook, and Power Mac brands. Today, every Mac includes "Mac" in its name.
• Thunderbird 2.0: A simple, powerful, free email client, Michel Munger, Macinthoughts. Mozilla Thunderbird doesn't suffer from feature bloat like most commercial email programs. It puts the focus on doing what you need efficiently.
• Format any drive for older Macs with patched Apple tools, Tyler Sable, Classic Restorations. Apple HD SC Setup and Drive Setup only work with Apple branded hard drives - until you apply the patches linked to this article.

2008
