Thank you all for continuing to visit our website, and being a better part of our community. We’ve always been a community-oriented website, and at the end of the day, we are volunteers here at Low End Mac – myself included. While this is a hobby (and a therapeutic one at that), we aren’t drawing any paychecks from Low End Mac, so everyone who does what they do – do what they can. Between work, downtime, and life events, I’ve been thrilled to do my part at Low End Mac, looking at it as less of a hobby and more of something I work on almost everyday.

I would like to present to you our new donations page on Ko-Fi. Ko-Fi is the a way to donate to/tip Low End Mac. If you’ve found Low End Mac a helpful resource, come join our online groups, or consider making a donation. This will go toward hosting costs, the time and energy spent keeping the site going, and once in a while, toward projects which readers are interested in seeing.

Low End Mac is slowly but surely recovering as our website gets cleaned up, organized, and more articles are made. Our traffic has been on a slow crescendo for the last year, reaching an average of 4,390 page views per day over the last two weeks as of February 5th. No matter what happens though, this site stays ad-free, and fast to load on old hardware.
