DayStar introduced the first multiprocessor Mac OS computers with its dual- and quad-processor Genesis MP line. The first Genesis was introduced in October 1995. In August 1997, DayStar elected to discontinue manufacturing computers, and its remaining inventory was sold off under the Millennium name.

- All Four DayStar Genesis Processors Do Not Run When Using Photoshop 5.0.x or Earlier, Adobe, 1999.02.26. You must remove the Multiprocessor Accelerator plug-in to allow quad-processor DayStars to function. This allows the DayStar to use its own multiprocessor acceleration.
