As of a few days ago, we reached 14K members in our FaceBook group – 7 months and 2 days after crossing over 13K members on June 26th last year. This is the most we’ve ever had in our group ever, and we’re happy to keep growing.
Low End Mac has had a presence on Facebook since December 2008 – growing over time with an organic community of people. Our main group covers macOS, Macs, iOS-adjacent topics, Vintage Mac topics, and most things Apple.

Since the previous milestone, our group has become more lively – there are more posts, questions, photos, links, and YouTube videos being shared. We’re seeing more engagement, more joining just to see what we’re all about, and I’m thrilled to see our FaceBook Group + website keep going.
Lately, we’ve been getting more new member requests who’ve also been longtime visitors of our website, and it makes me happy to hear others’s nostalgic stories and comments about Low End Mac. I’ve been a visitor myself since the days of owning an iMac G3 Graphite back in 2008.
