MacBook Air Index As a list

The first MacBook Air was unveiled in January 2008, Apple’s answer to the netbook fad that had wrecked the low end of the PC laptop market. Instead of a tiny screen, underpowered CPU, and shrunken keyboard, the original MacBook Air included a 13.3″ 1280 x 800 pixel display, 1.6 to 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, and a full-sized keyboard. And instead of a cheap plastic enclosure, the body of the MBA was carved from a block of aluminum.

It was joined by an 11.6″ version, still with a full-sized keyboard, from 2010-2016. The 13″ model was redesigned in 2018, sticking around for Apple Silicon. In Summer 2022, a 15″ version joins the fold, alongside a sleeker 13″ design.
