Online Mac AuctionsOnline auctions can be a great way to sell your surplus computer equipment. Because many auctions end in a bidding frenzy, you'll often get more through an auction (especially on a Mac- or computer-related site) than otherwise. On the flip side, online auctions are only occasionally the best place to buy computers and peripherals. Prices tend to escalate quickly in the last hours, at least for popular items. But if you know exactly what you want and set a realistic bid limit, you can sometimes do very well. The key is not to invest yourself so much that you spend more than you should.
