The iMac Ring

The iMac Ring is a collection of iMac specific sites that are working together to promote the iMac. Unlike most rings, it's small enough that we don't worry about fancy ring management software - we just put links to the other pages on our sites. (Also, any site dealing with the iMac is invited to join the iMac Web Ring, which is a ring in the more traditional model.)

If you want information on the iMac, these are the best sites to visit (listed in the order they arrived on the world wide web).

Member sites

  • The iMac NewsPage, launched on 1 June 1998. The focus is mainly within the US, but also the Asia and Pacific market.
  • The iMac Channel, started 6 June 1998, provides links to iMac news stories and editorials about the iMac.
  • iMac2Day, started on 9 June 1998, discontinued.
  • The iMac.com, launched 19 June 1998, The iMac is devoted to providing a resource for Mac users to get the information they need about the latest iMac developments, find out where to buy an iMac, talking about iMacs, and in getting answers to their problems (if they have any) when they buy their iMac.
  • The iMac List, an email list for iMac users.
