The Low End Mac privacy policy is pretty simple: we don't know who you are, we don't track individuals, and we don't use cookies.
As is common with web server software, our log records things like your IP address, OS, browser and version, what page you viewed, and when you viewed it.
From this, we can know that 39-40% of site visitors are on Windows machines, 57-58% on Macs, more use Internet Explorer each month, a lot of visitors hit the site an average once a day or more, and other general statistics like that.
We don't analyze the logs to find browsing patterns for individual visitors. With over 100,000 visitors per month and over 400,000 page hits per month, we wouldn't even have the time.
To the best of our knowledge, none of the ad software or banner exchanges we participate in track such information either.
