2006
- Acura Legend, the car that
changed the way we look at Japanese cars, Ted Hodges, Vintage
Mac Living. Some products, like the Macintosh and the Acura Legend,
simply pull us in with their intelligent design, feature set, and
value.
- Upgrade the Power Mac or buy an
Intel Mac mini?, Dan Knight, Mac Musings. With 1.8 GHz dual G4
upgrades selling for US$600, it might make more sense to add a Core
Duo Mac mini than upgrade the processor.
2007
- Free, flexible video editing and
conversion with MPEG Streamclip, Brian Gray, Fruitful Editing. This
freeware programs supports a multitude of video formats, makes it easy
to create video clips, and can export the most popular types.
- Leopard brings about a few
changes for Boot Camp users, Alan Zisman, Mac2Windows. Boot Camp no
longer requires a Windows drivers disc, and BootPicker makes it easy to
choose Windows, Linux, or the Mac OS at startup.
- Leopard on older Macs, 13-port
USB 2.0 hub, Mac Plus emulator, WD's 'green' hard drives, and more,
