SETI@home Monthly Update

2001.07.01 - Dan Knight

It's been too long since we've looked at the SETI@home club standings. Low End Mac supports Team Mac Observer, which has had a pretty solid hold on 20th place.

We normally color code changes: red text for teams that have climbed in the standings and blue for those that have dropped in the standings. Six teams moved up in the standings, six down, one dropped from the top 25, and one rose to the top 25.

Key tools in this analysis are the SETI@home team statistics page and the SETI Checker program (which visually graphs recent weeks for team performance).

In the following analysis, data in the second column comes from the SETI statistics page. Information in the third column comes from my analysis. The average units per day is over the last 30 days.
