Consumption
To pick the right UPS, you need to know how much power
your equipment consumes. Following is a list of Macintosh
computers and their maximum rated power consumption. All
ratings are for 120V AC. All data from Apple Specs
Online.
Compact Macs
- 128, 512, Plus: 60W, 0.5 amps, 60VA minimum
- SE, SE/30: 75W, 0.83 amps, 100VA minimum
- Classic, Classic II, Performa 200: 75W, 0.63 amps,
75VA minimum
- Color Classic, Colour Classic II: 100W, 0.83 amps,
100VA minimum
Mac II Series
- Mac II, IIx, IIfx: 230W, 1.9 amps, 235VA minimum, CPU
