Observers Pass Team User Friendly- 20 June 2000
It's been a long time coming, but Team
Mac Observer (orange in graph) has finally passed Team User
Friendly (blue). As of 08.00 P.M. on June 20, we are 203 units ahead
of them. We
passed Team Lockergnome on 11 May and have been slowly closing on
Team User Friendly ever since. Our next target: Team NIPPON (green), which currently has 182,240
units to our 179,039. At our average of 687 units per day, we're
gaining by just 143 units each day. If both teams continue at this
pace, we'll pass Team NIPPON in 23 days. As always, we're looking for some help to close the gap more
quickly. If you'd like to help the fastest growing Mac team, here's
the information on joining Team
Mac Observer. Team Mac Observer has 662 members, including the "slow but steady"
Team 6100, which has seven members
running unaccelerated Power Mac 6100s and has completed 62 units
since May 2. (We bill ourselves as the slowest SETI@home team, which
may be a bit of an exageration. But if you have an unaccelerated 6100
available for use, we'd love to have you join the team.)
