The third Best of the Mac Web (BotMW) survey, an opinion poll
covering a good segment of the independent Mac Web, is done. Voting
took place over a two week period, and approximately 4,000
individuals shared their opinion of 50 of the best known independent
Mac-related sites on the Web - including one of the newest.
Google Links
We visited Google and searched for links to each site. Here are
the results as reported by Goolgle. We'd found no correlation
between the number of links Google reported and popularity or a
site's score.

Weighted Rating

that looks at both how well known a site is and how well respected it
is. The score is generated by multiplying the square root of the
number of responses by the score.
