NuBus Macintosh Clones

Only a few Macintosh clones were made using Apple's legacy NuBus slots, which date back to the Macintosh II of 1987. The NuBus clones were based on the architecure used in the Power Mac 7100 and 8100.

Apple squeezes Mac clones out of the market, Dan Knight, Mac Musings, 2007.08.30. Apple started to license the Mac in 1994, the first clones arrived in 1995, and they quickly into Apple's profitable high-end market.
