This Old Newton is Low End Mac’s user-to-user Facebook support group for Apple Newton users, including MessagePads, eMates, and licensed devices. The group was begun on 2016.08.09 and is meant to replace the defunct Apple Newton group on Facebook.

The goal of each of our groups is to create and maintain helpful user communities. The following policies have been established for Low End Mac’s Google Groups. They may be revised as necessary.
There are informal rules of Internet communication which are termed netiquette to help people use proper etiquette within forums and email groups. Some examples of poor netiquette are not signing messages, sending unsubscribe messages to the posting address (instead of the administrative address), or TYPING IN ALL CAPS (which is the equivalent of yelling).

The MacBook group is for anyone using a MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air. The group was begun on 2006.02.11.
The Mac mini group is for anyone using a Mac mini, whether the G4 or an Intel-based model. Group begun 2006.01.11.
The Macintel group is for those using Intel-based Macs. The group was begun on 2006.01.11.
Low End Mac’s Powerlist Group was begun on August 8, 2000 and moved to Google Groups on January 23, 2006. Powerlist exists as a forum for users of Power Computing computers.
LisaList is Low End Mac’s group for Apple Lisa users, including those using Lisa emulation. The group was begun on 2000.06.18.
The iMac Group is a group for all iMac G3, G4, and G5 and eMac users. We have launched a separate group for Intel-based iMacs. Group begun 1998.07.29.
SuperMacs is a forum for users of Umax SuperMac computers. This group doesn’t cover SuperMac video cards, monitors, or any other products with the SuperMac brand name – only SuperMac computers produced by Umax.
Vintage Macs is a forum for users of 68000, 68020, 68030, and 68040-based Macintosh computers (a.k.a. 680×0 Macs and 68K Macs). This includes compact Macs, the Mac II series, LCs, Quadras, and others.
